PASSOS DE FUTURO project design

The PASSOS DE FUTURO (STEPS FOR THE FUTURE) project was born out of a desire to explore new ways of recovering waste generated in the rubber sole manufacturing industry. Despite having relevant technical properties, much of this waste is sent to landfill, representing a loss of value and a wasted opportunity on the path to circularity.

Reflection on this scenario led to the creation of an approach geared towards the efficient reintegration of these materials into the production chain itself. The goal was simple but ambitious: to extend the useful life of materials, reduce waste and promote a more efficient and responsible economy within the footwear sector.
