CONTINUOUS
IMPROVEMENT
It is a practice that makes products, processes or services more efficient and effective. It is an endless cyclical process, a constant search to improve everything that is done, that is, there are always new opportunities for improvement to be identified and put into practice.
Aspects such as defects, waiting, moving, overproduction, reprocessing, stocking, and transportation must be monitored for continuous improvement.
🔴 There is a significant set of tools to deal with this matter, which will also depend on the type of business and the defined strategy.
The most commonly used, just to name a few, are the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles , the Root Cause Analysis , the Ishikawa Diagram , the Basic Matrix or workflow systematization.
