The final stage of the BORRACHA 2.0 (RUBBER 2.0) project marks its transition from a pilot initiative to a fully validated Circular Solution.
With the completion of the Good Practice Manual, technical procedures and forms of coordination between waste-generating companies, management operators and recovery entities have been defined, ensuring the replicability, safety and environmental compliance of the process.
Its implementation now allows non-fluorinated and non-chlorinated rubber waste to be systematically integrated into R12 recovery processes, significantly reducing the volume sent to landfill.
The project thus ends its experimental cycle, giving rise to an operational Circular Solution, ready to be applied continuously and scalable by companies in the sector.
More than just a completed project, BORRACHA 2.0 (RUBBER 2.0) has become a benchmark for good practice and a concrete example of collaboration between sectors, demonstrating how innovation and environmental responsibility can converge to transform waste into opportunities - strengthening industrial competitiveness and the environmental commitment of the entire value chain.
