BOLAS FELIZES project kick-off

The kick-off marks the transition from concept to execution: the idea ceases to be merely a challenge and becomes a reality under development, guided by principles of circular economy, continuous improvement and sustainability.

At this stage, the project’s strategic objectives were defined, key partners were mobilised, and the field operations required to implement the initiative were initiated.

Protocols were established for the collection of used tennis and padel balls from clubs across mainland Portugal, criteria for sample selection were defined, and the mapping of the main waste sources was structured.

In parallel, partners responsible for executing the experimental pathway were identified and engaged, creating the necessary conditions for the development of subsequent stages.
